Quitting a game?

Postby Ryanx » Thu Apr 09, 2015 12:51 am

I can't seem to find the directions on how to do this. I am obviously going to lose one of the games I am in and simply want to resign to save us both the hassle of playing it out. Help?!

I'll be putting in a surrender button soon, maybe next release. There will be conditions around it though

Conditions? I hope you are not talking about something detrimental to your rating or something like that, or any other negative impact.

More like the biggest player owns 50% more territories than all other players combined

I see what you mean. In my case there were only two factions left, my opponent did not have that much more territory than me, but he had a lot more armies. It is obvious I'm going to lose. I would just rather not drag it out over another couple of days.

50% should be some turns. It should not be just run over get 50% and win.

You have to hold it.

Surrender button is good idea.

50% wouldn't be a win condition, just a trigger for the surrender button becoming visible.

Talking about quitting, I'm off.

There are some interesting ideas on this platform, but way too many inconsistencies. I find it implausible that on so many occasions you can have a solid defence just wiped out. These games are there for the few who know them inside out and for us that are new to these are just being driven away.

I have given this site a chance, but just can't get anywhere with it, so good luck!

Well, I'm sad to see you go, hope you pop back in every now and then, we're still in active development :)

I'll be finishing off the games I am currently in, as it's not fair on the others if I walk away.

I'll pop in from time to time to see what's new.
