Chat access when one is eliminated

I don't think players should have access to the game chat after they have been eliminated in games, or in games they do not belong in.

Eliminated team players would still be allowed to participate in team chats.

Thoughts?

Re: Basic stats to blow your mind

Fire, Good god...the things that come out of your mouth Sargon. You are so convinced that you are right, but the things you type are 90 percent nonsense. The first thing you learned in your undergraduate statistics class was that data has to be complete? Have you ever heard of sampling? Have you eve...

In-game chat suggestions

I've made a few mistakes in some games where I mistakenly post something intended for my teammate and vice-versa. Perhaps instead of one long scroll at the bottom of the screen, perhaps a few smaller colored scrolls might be better? For example, a red scroll could indicate the game chat, a green scr...

Re: Basic stats to blow your mind

Fire, One of the first things I learned in my statistics class over a decade ago (which I got an A+ in, by the way, at the undergraduate level, but I admit I am rusty) was that the data has to be complete, and since the scoreboard has only a portion out of the over 6000 players on the site, you'll h...

Re: GAME 1404

I'm not sure if you appreciate how good this site really is. I would find it boring if every single faction and empire was exactly the same. The administrator is making adjustments to improve the playability of certain factions and reduce the advantages of others. Other sites don't have nearly the s...

Re: Medieval Europe v2 Discussion Thread

From my Risk playing experiences, this will lead to longer games, which I don't have a problem with, but some might.

Could we have this as an option that could be checked, for example, like the income selection?

Re: Medieval Era v3 discussion thread

Wow.

Sounds great!

I'm going to have to print this out.

One question: when you say "attacker" as in attacker infantry, does this mean like it always has, can do damage, and can take damage? I'm assuming yes; just want to be sure.

Re: Medieval Era v3 discussion thread

After thinking about it, for the navy battles, perhaps 4 v 1 would be a better compromise. I still think 5 v 1 might be a bit overkill. I've had several situations recently with 3 v 1 (navy battles and infantry battles) where I as the attacker have lost quite a bit of troops against a lone navy or i...
